Awesome book with tons of information. Great for students or anyone in the field of Criminal Justice. I am a board-certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst & graduate of the National Forensic Academy at the University of TN. Even the older editions are worth the buy!
This book is not going to tell you how to profile, but it will tell you some of the ways not to profile. It explains some of the many ways "profiles" should not be used, and why they are imperfect. (Hint: The BAU in TV's "Criminal Minds" does it wrong and the profiles are unrealistically accurate.)
This is such an interesting book! I love it. I am using it for my psychopathy & criminal profiling class. Most text books are very dry but the majority of the information in this book is written very well. There are many real world examples too so you can see how the theories and statements apply to actual life and real situations. Very informative and makes me want to learn more!
This book came in just a few days and was brand new never used, I bought it as a reference for my Forensics class and it has not disappointed me so far. The author is easy to read and understand.
Rented this book for a class and I absolutely loved it! Therefore, I decided to purchase a copy for keepsake. The "new" book I recieved had damage on its spine and the cover was blue- not black like the copy I rented before.
