Nice map that will likely serve my needs, but it came to me with one corner of the folded map torn which leaves a small hole in the middle of the map. The material is pretty durable so maybe it will not continue to get bigger?My big surprise was that the entire index is blurred beyond recognition. This is obviously a misprint that most likely affected an entire run of maps. I'm surprised others have not commented. It would have been of little consequence if not for the fact that I cannot read any of the writing within the index on that side of the map. Seems like this would have been noticed by the printers and not sold.
Much better than the national geographic version. Has inset maps of the urban areas and a location/grid index. The natgeo map has pictures of animals instead.
Not a very detailed map, and some roads that it shows as big paved freeways were actually still under construction (and will be for years to come - over the Andes), and were not passable in a passenger car (need 4-WD).
