Chapter 3, "Installing Solaris," provides the reader with a few sample installations. Chapter 4, "Admintool," details the ways in which to use the new admintool GUI and shows the longer manual processes to accomplish some of the same tasks. Chapter 5, "Boot and Shutdown Files," describes some of the files consulted during the booting of a system and reviews changes that can be made to them. Being a Sr. UNIX Admin and still having several legacy Sun systems that I maintain I spent time searching explicitly for this book and as a brief review of the book I would like to say it has a treasure trove of information that is difficult to find anymore in regards to transitional changes between Sun 2.5.* and Sun 2.6 (Solaris 6) that make the administration of ye ol' pizzaboxes that much easier.To the review of the vendor, this item shipped/arrived very promptly and was in decent shape as indicated by the seller. I would buy from them again based on their prompt service.
